Web site development
We can design and implement new web sites to suit most organisations requirements
and budget. These will be developed using Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Flash
for animations and DHTL Menu when drop-down menus are required. No proprietary
software is used so the completed web site can be moved from one ISP to
another without worries. We will also add your site to Google using key
words so that your site can found by using relevant search words.
Note, as we do not have our own secure servers, we do not develop solutions
involving e-commerce. The reason for this decision is that as we cannot
verify the security on another organisations servers, we would not develop
a solution where we could not provide a 100% guarantee on security.
Web site maintenance
We can provide maintenance to most existing web sites. Before giving a
quotation for changes to an existing web site that we had not previously
worked on, we would need to check the site to ensure that it does not
include any "non standard" code that is in the possession of
the developer or ISP provider.
Joomla! development
Joomla! is widely used, open source Content Management System
(CMS) that enables web site owners to make control of the content of their
web site. We can develop and maintain web sites developed in Joomla! and
would be happy to discuss this as a possibility for your web site.
Domain name registration
We can take the worry out of domain name registration for you. We would
normally use Domain Central for registering your domain name.
Hosting
While we do not have any arrangement with any hosting organisation, we
can arrange to have your site hosted on a suitable ISP.
Consulting
We have had many years of experience in developing computer systems, from
small web sites, to large mainframe systems. As such we can assist you
with your needs, whether it be to develop a requirements specification
for package selection, developing test plans, or looking at long term
strategy.
